“To succumb to the enormity of the problem is to fail the one.”

This is one of the opening quotes on www.sherescuehome.org (one of our partner organizations). What an incredible perspective bringer. How easy it is to become extremely overwhelmed by all that is going on in the world. That overwhelming feeling almost paralyzes you. Where do you start? What could you possibly do that would make any sort of impact in the world? Questions we all ask ourselves as we face the countless issues that are causing pain, loss, brokenness, even death worldwide.

Is this a broken world? Yes. But do we have a role to play? Yes.

We believe that part of being In It For Good is to live like “the one” matters. We believe that the part each of us play is vital to what God is trying to do in His rescue plan for this world. God is still in the rescuing business and we get to play a part. Don’t forget that what you are doing matters! What WE are doing matters in God’s masterplan. The seemingly small sacrifices you are making may literally just be for the one… and as you watch the news at night, it might make what you are doing feel insignificant. But can we come back to that quote?

“To succumb to the enormity of the problem is to fail the one.”

Let’s do our part, let’s be mindful of how we can make a difference in this world. God has already given us opportunities – we will never be lacking in those. Now it’s up to us! What will we do? How will we sacrifice? How will we rally others to join the mission and be a part of bringing hope to the hopeless, home to the homeless, rest for the weary, healing for the broken? Let’s continue being “In It For Good” and embrace the many opportunities God has given us to be a part of His worldwide mission!

Cheers to 2016 being our biggest and best gift to our partner organizations yet!
